Celebrating Street Children Day in Kinshasa

Under the patronage of his excellency the mayor of Kinshasa, the REEJER (Réseau des Educateurs des Enfants et Jeunes de la Rue) organized different activities on Street Children Day (April 12). Children performed role play around the 4 steps to equality for street children: commit to equality, provide access to services, protect every child, create new solutions.

On that same occasion, REEJER celebrated its 20 years’ anniversary and launched 2 projects: the first project on protecting street children and young people’s rights in Kinshasa and a second project on reinforcing the protection services for street children in Kinshasa. Both projects are supported by Apprentis d’Auteuil and FAAI.
